What does this mod do:
IDEOLOGY
Adds a new ideology Socialism. The ideology has its own political advisors and political events. The generic feature of the ideology is finished, but the flavors for majors is still WIP. Socialist countrys may or may not have elections, it depends on how to react to the political events.
COUNTERS
Since the mod adds multiple new nations along with a new ideology, there is a known unfixable glitch that will cause the flags to be randomly switching when zooming back and forth. So, I redesigned the counter and remove the medium flag to make a work-around. If you are having trouble identifying your armies, remember that you can always toggle your army's color!
REGIONAL FLAVOR
◆ Japan
- A brand new focus tree.
- The leader of Japan is now its prime ministers instead of the Emperor.
- Political advisors overhual. Also adds and replaces several military advisors.
- Reworked the parties and added a few election events, which indeed happened.
- A series of both historical and potential events, including the Feb. 26th Incident, Showa
Restoration, ABCD Encirclement, Sino-Japanese alliance and more!
- Japan can now make the historical puppets through focuses.
- Adds East Hebei Autonomous Council
- Mengkukuo is now replaced by East Chahar Autonomous Region
(Mengkukuo, officially Mengjiang, wasn't created until 1939. Before that it was the East Chahar
Autonomous Region and the Mogol Military Government, which can be created through focuses.
Still, there are several other provisonal puppet goverments there I missed out. I might add them
in the future.)
◆ China
- Adds warlords: Sichuan Clique, Guangdong Clique, Hebei-Chahar Political Council and Xikang (a
breakaway faction from Sichuan Clique).
- Map Overhual:
*Redrawn the borders of multiple states which were previously wrong, including the states in
Manchuria.
*Adds a few more states to increase playability and historical accuracy.
*Reworked the Strategic Regions
- Corrected warlord names and more uniform flags (ROC flag with Chinese text).
Yes, they are not historically accurate, but less confusing than giving everyone a ROC flag.
Let me know if I should keep them or replace everyone with the same flag.
- Historical events, including the creation of CDL, Liangguang Incident, Sino-Soviet Neutrality
Pact, Sino-German Cooperation and more!
- Warlords now won't integrate themselves when the Sino-Japanese War breaks out. They will just
simply join the Chinese United Front instead.
- Adds a brand new focus tree. (Not yet finished.)
- Political advisors overhual. Also make that german advisor actually an advisor.
